I’ve played here several times, both as a solo performer and also with Martin Nolan the great Dublin piper. My last outing was with Ceilidh Briscoe, my regular accomplice on fiddle.

The Empourium is a lovely venue with its curved walls and intimate atmosphere. Owners John and Alice make it a very welcoming place for both performers and audience alike. Apart from serving great coffee, beer and wine, they have a nice cafe style menu served by friendly staff. They also offer local artists and craftspeople a place to display their creations. Check out their cool gift area, which often sees me picking up a greeting card or (last time) a pair of socks.

If you haven’t been there yet, come and listen to our new songs and tunes. We’re always working on something. See you there.
